This is because 3D mats are moulded to the exact shape and size of your D-Max's floor. This way you get the best level of grip and also the most minimalistic-looking floor. Your floor will still be protected but keep in mind that you won't be able to clean 3D mats as easily as you would other types of Dmax floor mats.
